Our world has become immune to threats against women’s safety, placing the burden on women to keep ourselves safe. But what if there was a world where women didn’t worry about safety, where men and women respected each other? This dark comedy shares a world where this idea isn't crazy, it's the norm

Mission Statement
As a team of young POC women and non binary people, each of us have experienced moments where we have felt dismissed, invisible and unsafe. We seek to demand a space for our stories, our voices, and our visibility in an industry that continuously denies our experiences and presence.About The Project
THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING US MEET OUR INTIAL GOAL of $5K:
We're on a mission to reach up to $7K over the remaining time - and you can help us get there!
The world has been reset: we’ve finally achieved gender equality, and women and men have learned to co-exist with mutual respect for each other. Women no longer fear going out at night - and are finally able to enjoy a night out without their safety being compromised.
Noor, a badass South Asian lead is looking to treat her best friend, Emily, to an unforgettable 21st birthday. Our two best friends start the evening in the best way possible, when circumstances have them go separate ways before meeting up at a frat party. But on the way, the encounter a series of events that almost get them kidnapped, drugged, and killed.
Approached through the lens of a comedy-thriller, this story builds suspense, fear, and doubt through intense situations that make you hold your breath, only to subvert your expectations with something unexpected. The best part: this film is completely captured through the female gaze, and told by a team of young women and non-binary people of colour storytellers.
What if men were held equally responsible for upholding women's safety? What if there was a world where women didn’t have to worry about our safety? With this, Any Given Night was formed.
Imagine a world where we didn’t have to do that.
Our film is inspired by the moments where women have felt unsafe on any given night, thinking of potential dangers like: being roofied, groped, assaulted or worse. As a result of our worry, the burden has been placed on women to make sure we are keeping ourselves safe."Any Given Night" leaves our audience challenging our current standards for men, and questions why our world doesn't allow women to enjoy a night out without worrying about safety.
