The Story
Baby Elephants follows Billy, a young heroin addict, through the initial stages of a relapse. The film examines his relationships with his dealer, his mother and himself. Billy's world is juxtaposed in a way that sheds light on what the chains of addiction are made of.
Is it the drugs?
Is it his circumstance?
Or is it the beliefs he holds?
Baby Elephants asks these questions through a compelling narrative that blurs the lines of morality with a dramatic turn of events.
WHY NOW?
There are very few social ills on par with the rampant rise of opioid addiction and mental health crises in America. It has reached pandemic emergency status and yet is still highly stigmatized and misunderstood. Baby Elephants delivers an indelible image and message that makes these topics digestable in a raw, unadultured form.
Baby Elephants delivers the reality of addiction in 2019 with stunning cinematography and a beautiful storyline.
Help us carry this torch!
We were miraculously able to film Baby Elephants through the aid of many close friends and divine favors. The performances we captured are absolutely breath-taking and we’re looking to raise funds for Post Production to have our film cut and treated for festivals.
Speaking of festivals, we’re taking Baby Elephants ALL THE WAY! Part of our campaign is to raise funds for festival and grant entry fees.

Ronnie Gene Blevins - "Sticky"
Ronnie hails from the big state of Texas with equally big talent to match. Having appeared in over 100 film and TV productions, including The Dark Knight Rises, Twin Peaks, Joe and Westworld, Blevins has curated a reputation as a fierce thespian. In 2009 he wrote, starred and produced the critically acclaimed comedy “American Cowslip” which co-starred an all-star cast featuring Rip Torn, Bruce Dern, Cloris Leachman, Peter Falk, Diane Ladd and Val Kilmer. Versatility and a chameleon-like quality has garnered Blevins a wide range of character portrayals.
Pamela Clay - "Rachel"
Pamela has appeared in more than 30 TV and film productions. Formerly a Sanford Meisner disciple, a strong reputation as a character actor has kept her in front of the camera since the early 1980’s. Fluent in French, she sings Edith Piaf at nightclubs and private parties in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles.
Danielle Garza - Angel
Danielle Garza is an Actress/Model with a primary focus in TV and Film who has always had a deep love for the Performing Arts through drama, music and dance. Every Heart first appeared on screen as an extra in the film “Devil’s Den”, starring Devon Sawa and Kelly Hu. After appearing in many student films, she landed “Arise,” a Christian Easter video directed, written and shot by Benjamin Ironside Koppin. Koppin wrote a starring role for her in his next feature film, “Return to Me,” and hired her again as a supporting character in his third feature, “They Live in the Woods.” Heart appears as a costar in “The Guest Book,” and most recently, “Vida,” created by Tanya Saracho.
