The Film
Between is a surreal comedy about imagination, longing, and the stories we create in our own minds.
Inside a sports magazine, a sneaker model comes to life and falls in love with a pickleball player printed on cover page. Determined to return her lost ball, he travels across a series of athletic worlds, facing absurd challenges along the way.
When he finally reaches her, he realizes the journey meant far more to him than it ever did to her.
Between explores how we project meaning onto moments and what happens when fantasy meets reality.
Why We’re Making It
This film comes from a universal feeling: believing a moment or connection is bigger than it really is.
We wanted to tell a story that mixes comedy with emotional honesty using a playful visual world to explore rejection, self-discovery, and imagination.
Between turns an internal emotional experience into a physical adventure.
How Funds Will Be Used
Your support will help us complete the film through:
- Production design & locations
- Cast and crew compensation
- Camera, lighting, and equipment
- Post-production (editing, sound, color)

About This Team
My team is all my classmates.
So let me tell you the reason I picked them for the roles they are doing and most of the reasons are not related to films AT ALL
Starting with
Producer - Anmol, He helped me move to an apartment and somehow convinced me to move in with him the next. A real manipulator but also a true 2AM friend
DOP - Saksham, We have very different taste in cinema and what it does to you, but we both appreciate each other's work so much that we end working together a lot, Soul mates I assume
Assistant Director - Robel, A friend who I can yell at and be upset on and then go to drink after. We indulge in our movies and talk about it for more than what's considered healthy.
Production Designer - Tracey, A hard working and a keen observer, he can change a school studio to your personal living room in no time.
The team is long and they are doing various roles in the movie, but one thing common in all of us is that ew are hungry to make a movie that we can all be proud of for ages.
