A few years ago they legalized marijuana here in Washington, DC.  I never cared about it before, but someone knew I was a chef and asked if I could turn their cannabis into pot brownies.  I said, I’ve never done that before but I’d give it a try. We were just giving them away.  But wondering how we could make some money with these decadent things. Unfortunately, the laws here say, you can give it away, but you can’t sell it… cannabis I mean. So, we threw a pop up party. And BOOM!  Hundreds of people came.  It was fantastic!  So we kept throwing them over and over and over again. Now, I have a full-blown underground business called Bud Appétit.
 
But I don’t just make cannabis-infused edibles.  For years I’ve been a screenwriter… and now, I have a new idea: Turn Bud Appétit into a full-blown television series.  I wrote a TV pilot.  Then I used all the money I saved from all my edible clients, got a cast and crew together, and filmed the show.  It was so much fun.  It’s like CHEERS meets WEEDS. But wow, that was expensive… completely self-funded. Now - the hard part.

Who wants to see a new tv show about a cannabis café? I’m asking all my friends and fans, cannabis enthusiasts and connoisseurs, ganjapreneurs, old hippies, young hippies, seasoned and new growers, edible-makers, dabbers, seed traders, and medical marijuana patients, and tv show lovers to help us put this project on the map.
 
We need extra funds for the post-production: editing, audio and color correction, marketing, etc… Collectively, your donations will be huge. Lets make this happen!  We're looking for a distrubutor like Netflix/Hulu or premium or regular cable.
