About The Project
Some words from writer Richard C. Bailey,
There is magic in film. In much the same way there is in many other art forms. Like music, painting, sculpture and poetry. There is no oral language that can describe what this magic is...but we all know it when we feel it. When an artist connects to their audience, It’s like an invisible magic string that connects us all without the need to speak. and when the string is plucked just right, the connection is made and the magic happens. Cleave aims to pluck that string! One of the major themes of this film is relatability. Most people have been in a relationship or have relationships, jobs, etc currently that are tearing them apart - but they stay anyway.
Having experienced the very situation we are exploring in Cleave (remaining loyal to a divisive relationship), I realized that this topic could beg a much broader question of society - "What is your Cleave?"Incentives
