Our goal with DON'T MOVE is to start a conversation about how our relationship to Fear has changed since 2016. This film is not about politics; it is a reaction to it – a psychological horror thriller that seeks to make people feel less alone in a sociopolitical climate that no one saw coming.

Mission Statement
We are so proud to have formed a majority-female creative team, which also includes human beings of LGBTQ+ identity. Our commitment to this kind of gender and sexual diversity is a touchstone of what this project represents.About The Project
Don't Move is the terrifying story of a woman who suffers the gruesome consequences of trying to sell her generations-old family home. When two friends come to help her pack up the last few boxes, the walls of the cellar begin to close in on them. With limited time to escape, the friends fight for their lives.
We started writing the script for Don’t Move in the early part of 2016, and set out to create a non-political project that examines human beings’ relationship to Fear. The initial result was a feature-length horror script with a large cast and a very complicated storyline. In the aftermath of the shocking presidential election results later that year, we found ourselves discussing more and more how our relationship to Fear rapidly changed with the heightened contentiousness of the present-day geopolitical climate. The intention behind Don’t Move changed as those conversations continued and, in the time since, we have refined that original feature script down to a short film with a much more streamlined narrative that unfolds in a real-time setting. The narrative of Don’t Move asks the audience to ponder a question pertinent to life in today’s America, particularly for marginalized sectors of society: What do you do when the action that could save you is the exact same action that could kill you?
Having previously produced the digital comedy series “Return to Sender” and “Fruitless,” this is RTS Productions’ first foray into horror filmmaking, and we couldn’t be more excited!Incentives
