We believe in humor that is heartfelt and intelligent. We believe in embracing the quirky and idiosyncratic. We believe that laughter has the power to free people to be themselves. 'How To Do Everything' will pack an emotional punch at the same time as it makes you laugh out loud.

Story
Mission Statement
'How To Do Everything' is made by a motley crew of dreamers from all different walks of life. We are proud to say that our cast and production team is diverse in gender, age, and nationality. We are coming together to tell a shared story: how to live, thrive, and laugh as an artist in New York City.About The Project
Our team met through a 72 Hour Short Film Challenge at The Actor's Green Room, where Alex Kraft and Luke Winter were tasked with coming up with the idea for a comedic short film, which was then to be shot over the course of a weekend. We had so much fun working together that weekend, and were so pleased by the laughs we got from the resulting short film ('The Window Is Open'), that we decided we had to consider the possibility of expanding the original story into a web series. Alex and Luke got to work on the script for a first season, Joe Lacerda and Joe Tribble began to assemble the production team, and before long we were off to the races.
So why another web series about a bunch of actors in New York City? We believe that we can explore that ground in our own original way by telling three dimensional stories of people that are not just concerned with how to audition, but how to do everything else. We're not looking to recreate the short form, viral-style comedy of similar shows. We've instead chosen to go against the grain within the web series form and to create ten to twelve minute long episodes which are full of heart and soul, not just laughs. We love heartfelt, intelligent, sensitively drawn shows like Freaks and Geeks and How I Met Your Mother, and we love the quirky, unforgettable characters of shows like The Office. We want to get the chance to have a crack at making a show that has those elements, that's in the spirit of our comedic heroes.
We believe that laughter is a powerful thing--that it can free people up to be themselves. We want to create that experience. We believe that in doing so, we can create a sustainable web series with network TV potential. We believe that we have a hilarious and deeply relatable story on our hands, and we want to tell that story with the highest possible production values at the micro budget independent level.
Why do we need to make this show right now? We are trying to take control and ownership of our careers as actors, and to build a body of footage that showcases the best of what we can do. Despite our best efforts, we are not getting any younger, and we know that we have only a narrow window of time to make something lasting while we are all available to bring this project to fruition.
We want to make you laugh, but we need your help to do it. Launching a successful web series with high production values is not cheap. We are launching a 30 day campaign to raise the necessary $6,000 to film the first season of the series. Will you stand with us to bring 'How To Do Everything' to life?
