The Story
SYNOPSIS:
jamAIs vu is a short film that follows the journey of Cora and Ever, a musician and her humanoid caretaker in the futuristic world. Despite knowing that her life will end soon, Cora's last wish is to perform a piece of music before being transferred to the terminal care facility.
Ever, a humanoid with a program designed to be the perfect caretaker starts to raise a series of questions when walking down the aisle of a chapel. All questions seem to be normal and even a bit more philosophical when asked by a human, yet odd when asked by a humanoid: how do I feel, and how do I dream?
Now Cora is having second thoughts: what if Ever is more than just a program? What if all this time, it doesn't just treat her as an assigned patient, but more like----a friend?
Ever starts She decides to introduce Ever to the idea of a dream as a "hidden universe". While Ever is pondering, Ever taps on her device.
Cora starts to play her one last song, Ever stands up and attempts to find more companions for Cora. Yet, Cora stops it. Ever follows the command and sits back next to her.
No one knows where Cora goes.
Ever wakes up in a space, that it calls "the hidden universe".
