Mission Statement

Our team is made up of a diverse range of age, gender and ethnicity. Spearheaded by female duo Elizabeth and Anna, our team is looking to create powerful story lines and visuals that will impact the music industry and supplement Jony's vision and point of view as an artist.

The Story

Director Elizabeth Archer discovered artist Jony Shelby on her Spotify Discover Music playlist. She was immediately drawn to Shelby’s music and reached out to him on Facebook to see if he was interested in collaborating on music videos. A native from Austin, Texas, Shelby quickly jumped on board and the two began planning his trip to Los Angeles. Elizabeth and Jony reached out to their perspective teams--Anna Mattia, producer, and Micah Viccinelli, Jony’s Manager. The four have since been developing the project for months and are excited to launch the campaign. They’ve brought on Director of Photography: Harley Astorga, Choreographer: Nicole Closson, Associate Producer: Jamie Kolbrenner, Editor: Tom Felke, and Production Designer: Vanessa Lara onto the team to contribute their individual styles. Together, the long-distant creative team will be traveling from various states to combine their talents and produce two music videos for Jony: Faux and Yusomad.

Faux

Faux delves into the dynamic of a more established relationship, and Jony's eventual exhaustion at the constant deception from both parties. In the song, he resolves to change his ways and remove himself from a toxic situation. The music video will follow a narrative storyline, utilizing a short story to outline the deeper meaning of the lyrics.

Yusomad

Yusomad  refers to a point in Jony's life where he was trying to find himself after dealing with the heavy weight of past relationships and life experiences. Because of this, he places too much importance in a current relationship and freaks out in unhealthy ways whenever it seems to be going south. This will be a one-take, choreographed dance music video, focusing on visual symbols to portray the song's message.
