Little Messages is a story based upon a low income pair of siblings who are doing their best to be there for each other. The film centers around these siblings as one grows up so the other can stay young. Also, we have both a female director and producer.

Daniel and Kara have always been there for each other through thick and thin. No matter if it's counting down for Christmas, bandaging bruised hands, or doing whatever possible to make sure they'll always be a family. 

 

Anyone who has a close sibling relationship knows that there are good times and bad. As we grow up and change it becomes harder and harder to stay connected. Our characters choose to leave messages for each other so that even with their busy schedules, they always know they're there for each other. 

 

 

Daniel, as the provider for his sister, works after school and on weekends to ensure that there is food on the table and that the lights stay on. But his biggest concern is always making sure his sister has a decent childhood while she still can. Between all this, Daniel studies hard even if it means sleep is a rare gift. 

 

 

Kara is a fiery pre-teen who looks at her brother like a hero. She makes fun and teases him like all little sisters should, but you better believe she is the only one who gets to do so. She protects Daniel in her own way and sometimes that means giving someone a little reminder of who they are dealing with. 

 

Although it may be unorthodox, the pair of siblings has made their crazy life work. They celebrate Christmas like New Years and walk each other to school. They leave notes and pack lunches. Everything seemed to be going great until a letter came in the mail one day, but not just any letter, a letter from Harvard. The siblings entire relationship hangs on the content of this letter. One piece of paper turns into the greatest test the siblings have ever faced. Now they will find out what it takes to keep their connection strong through the greatest obstacle yet, change.
