Pulling Wool is a male/female buddy comedy. There is no romance. There are no "what-ifs". There is no disgruntled friend-zone. However, there is time and it is chasing after them. Caught up in puppy-gambling debt, best friends must rely on each other to wittily "raise" the money to survive.

Story
Mission Statement
Two core pillars of our movie are combating the stereotypical notion that Men & Women can’t be friends without underling romantic tension, and the continuous misrepresentation of diversity behind the camera. Our female led producer team works to embody these ideas instead of simply declaring them.About The Project
us.
Ashley Cohen, Steve Ward, and Conler Mandt met within the comedy community in New York City. Discontent with the lack of permanence in the things they were creating; they began the long and exciting process of creating a feature length film. After a year of conceptualization and script work they shot a trailer for the film as a proof of concept and are finally ready to release their baby into the world.
inspiration.
In Stephen King's book "On Writing" he describes contemporary mirroring. Sometimes the impetus for creation is simply seeing work and concluding that you are fully capable of actualizing something comparable. Pulling Wool was born through this notion while watching (REDACTED FOR LEGAL REASONS) at IFC in New York City.
the deal.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 through your contributions on Seed&Spark. This is the bare minimum needed to concieve this movie. Our production team has worked on multiple low budget projects that have premiered at Tribeca Film Festival, New York Independent Film Festival, Bushwick Film Festival and NYFTVF. They are confident in the acheiving something of great quality with this budget.

We are lucky enough to have a supportive community and access to a myriad of equipment including a Sony pxw fs7 which we will be filming on.
