REVELATION is a short film about veteran Detective Rachelle Cippolletti (Michelle Mazza) who has recently lost her daughter to a rare brain cancer DIPG. 

Upon returning to work, Rachelle is faced with a case that will test how ready she is to return to the force.

When she discovers that her closeted partner Detective Anthony Vello limelight’s secretly as a drag queen, the duo bonds over their hidden truths that will ultimately change how Rachelle views her career for the better.

The film addresses grief in all forms. Rachelle is dealing with the loss of her daughter.  She has watched her deteriorate for the past two years and is now trying to return to the only thing that has ever made sense in her life - the force. 

There also aren't many cop dramas featuring strong women and LGBTQ+ characters, and that is what makes the premise even more special.

Over the past few years, we have been reminded of our differences.  We have gone into our corners refusing to associate with anyone who shares an opinion that deviates from ours. 

REVELATION challenges this incredibly flawed premise.  We are all connected and there is far more that unites us than divides us.

This film teaches us that it's okay to accept your identity and to be in touch with your true emotions. It's okay to be who you want to be, feel how you want to feel, live how you want to live. No matter what.

We are all beautifully flawed human beings.  Grief and death escape no one. 

A mother's unwavering love for her child is understood by all.  

I am a mother of three young children.  I have wanted to produce and star in a film for a long time but never had the courage to just do it. 

My hope is that REVELATION also inspires moms, and people all over, to do that thing that they always wanted to do and create what is in their heart.
