Will we all still be friends in 5 years? Will I ever become the person I aspire to be? Will I be able to care for someone else as much as they deserve? The film asks questions we are often too afraid to ask. The tone of Sideways Gravity sets it apart from other "coming of age" stories.

Mission Statement

As a queer woman, something I've learned is that if the space isn't provided for diverse voices, we must create the space ourselves. This story is near and dear to me. It deals with growing up, confronting uncertainty, and self-doubt. These are universal themes, explored with new perspectives.

The Story

Ty is a confident musician awaiting a letter from Berklee. Wyatt is fun-loving partier doubting his competence and self worth. Roscoe is a charismatic class clown hiding a life-changing decision. Elvis is a gentle observer joining the military. Jude is a wanderlustful sentimentalist planning her transition to grad school. Together, these five best friends reminisce on the past, confront the future, and have one last night together before college graduation.

Sideways Gravity started as a play over 5 years ago, produced in a small Massachusetts town. The story has evolved with me as I've transitioned from high school to college to the "real world." It has always been my passion project to produce this film, and produce it right. This means paying my actors, my key crew, having quality equipment, and 110% of my effort.
