Signal Zero | Sci-Fi / Horror | Feature Film
Why Fund This Project - and Why Now
The film industry is changing fast — studios are slowing down, and independent films are driving the future of content. Signal Zero creates real jobs for Georgia filmmakers at a time when opportunities are limited, while proving that independent productions can deliver Hollywood-level storytelling.
Backed by Blackmagic Design and Quixote Studios, this project is poised to make a major impact. Once released, Signal Zero will stand out as one of the few must-see genre films on the market, making it highly sought after by audiences and distributors alike.
By funding this film, you’re not just supporting a project — you’re investing in the future of indie cinema and the filmmakers building it from the ground up.

Signal Zero — an intense, cerebral sci-fi/horror about isolation, contact, and what it means to survive when technology turns against us.
With your help, we’re bringing Signal Zero to life as the next great indie sci-fi story. This is a film made for fans of intelligent, character-driven sci-fi — think Annihilation, Coherence, or The Vast of Night. We have the crew, the experience, the story — and now we need your support to make it happen.
Message from the director:
Hi, I’m Andrew Burn — director of Venus Effect, a sci-fi film that premiered to a sold-out theatrical audience and went on to win multiple festival awards. That film is now streaming on Tubi, PrimeVideo, and other major streaming platforms. Thanks to that incredible journey, I’m back with my next film: Signal Zero.
Screenwriter: William Sterling (author, editor, screenwriter, actor, and podcast host, His latest works include the PUNK GOES HORROR anthology, String them up, Candy)
Production support by TitleFrame
Official partnership with Blackmagic Design, Quixote by Sunset Studios, and Bairn.

What It's About
Struggling with the death of her mother and her unraveling academic future, June, a brilliant PhD student, breaks into an abandoned radio observatory to complete her research, only to intercept a mysterious alien signal: a wandering A.I. that catalogs and exterminates biological civilizations. As it infiltrates her mind through her father's voice, she must face the impossible—stop the signal, or let humanity be eradicated.
This is a grounded, minimalist sci-fi story that asks big questions in an intimate setting — and delivers maximum tension without requiring a blockbuster budget.

>> The Impact
Indie sci-fi thrives on imagination — not just money. But the truth is: to tell stories at a professional level, we need the resources to do it right. And that means hiring local Georgia talent and crew throughout the production process, to create jobs and uplift the local independent film community.
With Venus Effect, we proved what was possible on a limited budget. With Signal Zero, we’re taking that vision even further. This story is deeply personal — about grief, memory, and how far we’ll go to preserve the future.
Every dollar helps us create something that feels big even when it’s made small. Something smart, beautiful, and worth watching again and again.
>> Risks & Challenges
Filmmaking is never without challenges. Weather, scheduling conflicts, and delays are always possibilities. But here’s why we’re ready:
We have completed and released an award-winning sci-fi feature both theatrically and streaming worldwide.
TitleFrame has in-house production space, infrastructure, and support for this project.
Our tight script, small cast, and limited locations mean lower risk and higher focus.
We’re not starting from scratch — we’re building on proven ground.
>> Other Ways You Can Help
We know not everyone can contribute financially - and that’s okay!
You can still be part of Signal Zero:
>> Share this campaign on social media.
>> Talk about the project in your community or online groups.
Your support - in any form - helps this film reach the audience it deserves.
>> Join Us.
Let’s make something bold. Something smart. Something unforgettable.
>> Let’s bring Signal Zero to life.
