About The Project
Transmedia narrative is a new and exciting form of storytelling, and what better subject matter is there than extraterrestrial life and close encounters? Don't answer that. I studied this form of storytelling as my final project as a Media and Film Studies major at Birmingham-Southern College, and that experience will hopefully help me make this series all it can be and more. Son of Somerset Files is shaping up to be an intriguing look at one woman's search for the truth - both in her family history as well as to what is out there. This webseries will follow Chloe's investigation through vlogs, tweets, Tumblr posts, and Instagram pictures, and everyone will be invited to come along on the bumpy ride!

About This Team
Elizabeth Hagale (Director/Writer) lives in Huntsville, AL, and is a recent graduate of Birmingham-Southern College. She already has a few stellar music videos under her belt and is itching to produce this webseries.
Jay Burleson (Director of Photography) is an indpendent filmmaker from Alabama. His work has screened in North America, Sweden, and Canada. His first feature film won the Audience Choice Award at the Southern Shorts Film Festival in Athens, AL. He currently has two feature films in post production.
Chelsea Moquin (Script Editor) was born and raised in Huntsville, AL, where she lived until she moved to Georgia to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design. She graduated with a degree in Dramatic Writing and moved to Brooklyn in order to follow her dream of writing for television.
