The Story
"They call them ‘stray dogs’— fighters grasping for a purpose.”
Stray Dogs, Action Drama
Stray Dogs follows Mason Lee, a hardened young fighter desperate to escape the history of his neighborhood. With only his bond with his older brother Miles Lee—his lifelong protector turned debt collector for a ruthless loan shark—Mason's growth is put to the test. When a botched job pulls Mason into a brutal underworld, he must confront the rage inside him and the painful legacy they both tried to outrun. In a world that treats loyalty like weakness, Mason faces the ultimate choice: survive like a stray, or fight for the future his brother sacrificed everything to give him.

Why Me?
I’m Kevin Le—four‑time award‑winning action filmmaker, stunt designer, and actor. Over five years in Hollywood, I’ve earned Best Action, Best Editing, and Best Sound awards while perfecting emotional, character‑driven combat. Stray Dogs channels my own journey of discipline, loss, and triumph. No one else can tell this story with the same authenticity and heart.
Why This Story?
This isn’t spectacle for spectacle’s sake. It’s a tribute to the unbreakable bond between brothers/siblings who fight through pain and sacrifice for the chance at moving beyond their family history. Blockbusters may dazzle, but Stray Dogs breaks through with the raw emotion and stakes that leave you breathless—and deeply moved.
Why Now?
Audiences are craving action films with real heart and honest representation. Asian American voices need to break out of stereotypes, especially in high‑octane genres. With diversity and depth at the forefront of cultural conversation, Stray Dogs arrives at the perfect moment to redefine emotional action cinema.
Our Progress & Goals
We’ve locked the script and storyboarded key moment. An award‑winning DP duo (Tony Diaz & Kevin Barile), a seasoned cast, and world‑class stunt professionals will be dedicating their lives to table reading, rehearsals, and development of action choreography during the Seed&Spark campaign.
With your support, we’ll cover:
- Cast & Crew Wages: Fair day‑rates for every artist on set
- Real Locations: From old‑school gyms to shadowy warehouses
- Catering & Crafty: Meals, snacks, and hydration to fuel long days
- Gear & Rentals: Cameras, lights, and safety equipment
- Post‑Production: Editing, sound design, and color that make each punch resonate
We aim to start shoot in Mid August, polish in Winter 2025, debut at top festivals and secure distribution in early 2026.
Stretch Goals—if we surpass funding, we’ll record a live original score, produce mini‑docs on each fight scene, and publish a exclusive behind the scenes & breakdowns for our backers.
