Goal: $100,000 for production

We spent over 20 summers at camp—where we grew up, found our voice, and fell in love with storytelling. The All-Nighter is inspired by those years: a coming-of-age horror-comedy about friendship, transformation, and the thrill of one final hunt.

Mission Statement

The All-Nighter is a love letter to the place that taught us how to lead, accept others, and work together no matter our beliefs or background. Our goal is to show the impact of embracing one another, putting differences aside, to overcome the scariest of obstacles, and laugh along the way.

The Story

Dear Friends, Family, Fans and Supporters -

To all of you that have supported us in this journey, first and foremost we say thank you. Following dreams, and working to make those dreams a reality truly takes a village, and there's not a moment that goes by in this process that we take that for granted. We have worked for years, tirelessly, to bring The All-Nighter to life, and we couldn't be more proud to share this next phase with you all. Every contribution only propels that dream into reality, and we are truly so appreciative of the generosity in any amount. These funds are instrumental in helping us achieve our goal of shooting this summer, so we thank you in advance - there aren't enough words to express our gratitude. Please don't hesitate to connect with further details about the project, it's our passion, so we couldn't be happier to dive in with you!

PLEASE NOTE: We’ve got 30 days to hit at least 80% of our goal—or we get nothing*! That’s right, it’s all or nothing, baby. Help us cross the finish line so this project doesn’t turn into a campfire ghost story about “what could’ve been.” And, while $100k is our goal (we know it's ambitious), anything beyond that only helps put this dream on screen! This project is pure passion—and with your help, we can give it the heart, hustle, and movie magic it needs to shine. Let’s make something unforgettable together!

(*please note: If a campaign does not reach 80% or more of its goal, supporters' credit cards are not charged for their pending pledges. This ensures creators are not required to complete a project without all the necessary funds they would need.)

WITH GRATITUDE,

Burt & Phil

SYNOPSIS

The oldest cabin mates at Camp Redwood have one last night before leaving behind the childhood sanctuary they’ve loved for years. As they embark on the much-anticipated annual All-Night Treasure Hunt, friendships are tested, secrets are revealed, and rivalries come to a head. But when the game starts turning deadly, the group realizes they’re no longer solving riddles—they’re fighting for survival. Can they uncover the truth and save their camp, or will the night claim them all? Combining the nostalgia of campfire stories with the thrills of a horror mystery, The All-Nighter is a high-stakes, coming-of-age adventure that explores courage, connection, and survival in the face of the unknown.

WHY US, WHY NOW?:

BECAUSE TO LIVE IS TO BE ON THE HUNT!

(PLUS, IT'S WHAT WE DID WHEN WE WERE CAMPERS)

At any moment, whether we realize it or not, we’re all searching—for meaning, for identity, for connection, for something more. Growing up, that hunt took on many forms: chasing joy, facing fears, figuring out who we were becoming and who we wanted to be. For us, that journey traces back to over 20 summers spent at overnight camp in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

Camp was where we grew up. It’s where we found lifelong friendships, learned through failure, got our hearts broken, acted ridiculous on purpose, and became better people because of it. It’s also where we first discovered the power of storytelling—watching The Goonies, Heavyweights, and Indiana Jones under the stars, quoting A Few Good Men around the campfire, and eventually picking up cameras of our own.

Each summer ended with “The All-Nighter”—a legendary, all-camp treasure hunt that marked the passage from camper to counselor.

Our Director, Burt, wrote his first All-Nighter scenario as a camper at age 13 - imagining the ongoing hunt while unable to sleep. That story was eventually used in a hunt he designed for his campers eight years later. As he transitioned into the “real world” after his camp tenure, he realized that crafting a ten-hour immersive story was excellent training for filmmaking. There’s one movie he's always known he's had to make—a story inspired by youthful dreams and the sheer joy and unencumbered FUN of being a kid. Now, we’re bringing that spirit to the screen.

THE ALL-NIGHTER is a coming-of-age horror-comedy about five lifelong friends chosen for Camp Redwood’s final treasure hunt. But when the game takes an unexpected turn, the clues lead to something far darker than anyone anticipated. What begins as a rite of passage becomes a test of survival, friendship, and growing up. It’s a story about the hunt for identity, for purpose—and what happens when that journey becomes very real.

It’s time to elevate these adventures by asking: What if the hunt didn’t go according to plan? What if this wild hunt wasn’t just a game? What if the masked killer who just kidnapped your counselor wasn’t playing a role, and you and your friends were each other’s only hopes of surviving the night? You only have one choice: grow up… before the sun comes up.

Where The Support Goes

We have the fortune of shooting at an incredible camp in Upstate NY, that can handle most all of our production needs! What we need help for though is paying for our perfect location, feeding and housing our most talented cast and crew, and renting the camera and its equipment so we can shoot the most fun camp movie we have ever seen. And of course to make all of it come to life, we need to be able to afford our editor so we can have something to show you all as promised! So, THANK YOU!

Fund Allocation

  • Food & Housing: $25k
  • Camera & Rentals: $25k
  • Editor: $25k

**If we’re fortunate enough to surpass our funding goal, additional funds will go toward post-production polish, festival submissions, and experiential marketing, to help spread the word and share in the treasure!

About This Team

Our Team

We’ve assembled a tight, talented crew of storytellers who know how to get things done—smartly, creatively, and with just enough chaos to keep things interesting. At the center are filmmakers who’ve been in the trenches: writing, directing, producing, and navigating the indie world with both grit and grace. We’re not here to make just another movie—we’re here to make something that hits.

Everyone on this team brings a different strength to the table—story, structure, tone, production, casting, partnerships—and we all share one thing: a deep love for grounded, character-driven stories with big energy and bold ideas. Between us, we've worked across film, TV, branded content, and digital, and we know how to move between the creative and the practical without losing the heart of the project.

The All-Nighter is the kind of film we’ve been building toward—a wild, emotional, full-contact ride—and we’ve got the team to pull it off.
