The Story
After grieving her parents’ death, Gina discovers a dark karmic generational curse inherited with her father’s passing. Gina’s romantic interest, Jason, is a mastermind behind an underground religious organization that is aware of this energy within her. He lures her into a cult devoted to observing the seven deadly sins. She embarks on a spiritual journey against her will. Along the way, she uncovers the truth about her destiny in an exploration into the afterlife.
As creators, we wanted to develop a story from a Latino perspective. Having filmmakers of color in front of and behind the camera, especially Latinos, will make a step to close the gap in the entertainment industry. We can't wait to show you this diverse story from diverse creators!
An important note about COVID-19: in order to ensure that our community stays safe we will be delaying production until the stay at home order has been lifted. It is our highest priority to keep those around us healthy. Once the all-clear has been given, we will start production ASAP. In the meantime, we will continue to work and develop our project to be the best it can be!
What We Need
Film is a powerful way to spread our message of Latino representation and spirituality; however, it's also an expensive one. We need to pay for things like crew, equipment, permits, the list goes on and on. This is where you come in, your contributions will help us get this important project made.
What You Get
Every little bit counts, and we want to personally thank each and every one of you for your contributions. When you support this campaign you have the opportunity to receive a wide variety of perks, to show our sincere appreciation. Some of the perks include: a personal shout out on our Facebook page, a private link to view the film as soon as it is released, or even an executive producer credit on the project!
The Impact
In today's world, it's incredibly important to support both independent artists and the Latino community. We hope to use this film to not only showcase Latino artists but also empower members of the Latino community to proudly embrace their own heritage and spirituality as well.
Other Ways You Can Help
