Mission Statement
"That Night" is Broken Bulb Production's first feature length film made by diverse filmmakers who represent artists in the world looking for their chance to show their true potential and express themselves freely. A movie for artists made by artists to show the importance of trusting your ideas.About The Project
Like everything else we do, we are attacking the mission of telling this story with a unique point of view that has the potential to impact the way audiences view movies and the way filmmakers go about making movies. This movie can serve as a reminder to an entire generation for decades to come on what it is like to be in your twenties in todays day and age.
Most of us have seen movies about an underdog artist that gets their big break, but what makes this project genuine is that it's made by diverse artists that can directly relate to the characters that are being portrayed. We are able to accomplish this by pooling our perspectives to create a generation defining movie.
Although on the surface this appears to be a broad comedy, "That Night" is also a love story, and is meant to inspire people to trust their ideas and bet on themselves. We believe the world of cinema needs a reminder that it isn't all about how much money you have or who you know. A great movie can come from anywhere. We see this project as an opportunity to uplift independent filmmakers and to show that if we can do it, anyone can follow their dreams with enough drive and determination.
It is our promise that we will stop at nothing until this story is told and that we will work tirelessly evryday on set to put our vision on the screen. We know we are underestimated, but we do not let that scare us from taking on this uphill battle.
We know "That Night" has the potential to be our big break, but since that hasn't happned yet we need help raising $15,000 for everything you see below. We promise we won't spend it all on Flamin Hot Cheetos.
We begin shooting the full length feature in December 2020 and plan to have a release in Fall 2021.
COVID-19: We are currently following CDC guidelines, but are still on pace to be able to start filmimg safely to ensure the health of our cast & crew.
