WE WANT CHANGE! This film is inspired by the growing tension between Police and People of Color. It is not intended to demonize all police officers nor is the goal to victimize or throw blame. Instead, it is time we see the problem, understand it and defeat it. For change to come, we must be United.

Story
Mission Statement
A goal of this film is to bury the preconceived judgments we make when we see a person's race and gender. This film actively protrays an array of different people of different backgrounds, race, and gender in an attempt to make the auidence rethink their initial thoughts. We are all one people.About The Project
Why this film?
I would like to see a change one day and this film is my way of helping to promote that change.
Throughout my life, my views of the Police and what they stand for has been an ever-changing debate.
Being young and hearing stories of mistreatment and hatred, it was easy to absorb that narrative to mold it as my own. The few encounters I personally had with the Police did nothing but confirm those narratives so fresh in my mind.
As I grew older I began to reshape my one-sided and prejudiced view of the Police when several friends who are extremely close to me were on the path to becoming Police Officers. I began to step outside my own narrow scope and see the full picture - that a large majority of Police are here to protect and serve.
Unfortunately, I still cannot say that my first instinct when seeing a Police Officer is not fear and when I see a new viral video of a man or woman needlessly being killed by the Police it does not anger me. What I can say is that I want it to end one day. I also believe that it will not end until both sides work together.
This film cannot solve the rooted issues of Police brutality or our views of police officers, however, my hope is that this film will spark a change in someone out there to take a step back outside their own narrow scope to the full picture. Only then are we able to connect with the other side and work toward a solution. I believe that the solution will only arise when we are all able to come together as one.
“We are not anti-Police, we are anti-Police brutality.”
About The Director
I am currently a writer on a developing TV drama (created by Ken LaZebnik, Henry Bibby, and Paul Bennet) working with Overbrook Entertainment and a writer/creator on another developing TV Sitcom working with PB Management and possibly Overbrook Entertainment. Over the past 7 years, I have been writing and directing short films budgeted solely on my own wallet. This will be my 10th short film and 1st film not limited to my own funds. In 2016 I graduated UC Riverside with a BA in Film Making and in 2018 I graduated from Stephen’s College with an MFA in Screenwriting in film and television.

Current Team
About This Team
Our team has been some of the hardest working people with the preparation of this project. Every member of this team has had a long background in film and television. Our actors are incredibly talented and believe in the impact this film could have.
Marvin is a hard-working producer who is making strides to become a well-known producer in the film and television industry. On top of that, he is a filmmaker himself and looks to one day have his stories told on the big screen.
Pyar is a voice actor turned screen actor with a deep range of acting ability. He is prepared and ready to go as soon as those lights turn on.
Howard, originally from Chicago, is a powerhouse on screen. His authenticity and command of attention is wildly moving.
We have several other actresses and actors dedicated to giving their all for this project. Each has more than enough talent to warrant an amazing performance.
This will be the director's 10th short film. He is a college graduate filmmaker with a Master's Degree and limitless desire to tell his stories. He has shot on everything from an iPhone with no crew members to directing a fully crewed feature. He is managed by PB Management and currently a writer on two developing TV shows in partnership with Overbrook Entertainment. He is an accomplished former college athlete, standout high school athlete, and is no stranger to hard work and dedication. This film has been a dream, years in the making. It is time for it to be realized.
