Hey, I'm Anahita!
New York, New York
(Ah-nah-hee-tah)! I am an Iranian-American multimedia artist, filmmaker, and writer based in Brooklyn, New York, finishing up my BFA in Film/Video at Pratt Institute. I am the primary director, writer, cinematographer, editor and producer of my own work, which often explores the nuances of human experience. With a strong guerilla-style approach, I attempt to cultivate intimate, low-budget sets which challenge traditional genre + industry boundaries.
My films have been featured at multiple film festivals across the country and most recently, on independent online platforms. Previous projects can be screened on my website, anahitarose.com.
