Hey, I'm Emily!

Bozeman, Montana

Broken Things is my passion project. It tells the story of three siblings surviving in a cabin after a virus has wiped out the majority of the population. It asks the ultimate question: life or death? How do you make that choice for someone who can't choose for themselves?

The idea for this film came to be after I lost a loved one of my own. I thought of it months after I had to sit in a small room with other friends and family and debate whether to leave him on life support with the slimmest of chances he might wake up, or let him go.

This was the most painful experience of my life, and that's why I need to tell this story.
