Hey, I'm Jordan!
New York, New York
After graduating Brooks Institute in 2010 I began work as an editor with a small television show in the midwest called Footnote. My time there allowed me space to both learn more about the editing process and shoot and produce my own short films and music videos. Unofficial music videos for artists I admired soon lead to official opportunities with larger artists like Frank Ocean and Childish Gambino.
After gaining some notoriety for directing and producing in that space with a group called High5Collective, myself and the rest of the team were signed to Partizan (Michel Gondry's commercial agency) for 2 years as directors on their boutique roster. That opportunity opened up several doors including shooting docu-series style content for Myspace who, at the time, was making a big resurgence. We covered events like "SXSW" and "Coachella" through a hyper-realistic lens.
Upon completing our time with Partizan I moved to New York to pursue more narrative style filmmaking. My time in New York has allowed me the opportunity to work with several labels like Def Jam and Roc Nation, as well as agencies like Cycle + Laundry Service, and business moguls like Dam Dash who produced a pilot for a web series called "The Union" that was an official selection at the New York Television Festival. I have earned the ability to work in all media work environments and have branched out from solely directing, writing, and editing, to cinematography, and producing.
Currently I am working to continue my passion as a narrative storyteller by producing, writing, and directing a series called "Brian" while continuing to work closely with media companies, labels, and production companies to create high quality content across all platforms.
I am now producing and segment directing for Viacom on "Tha God's Honest Truth."
