Roger McNamara dreams of being the next great celebrity chef, but his lofty aspirations are jeopardized when controversy arises surrounding his current job: cooking last meals for prisoners on death row.

Director's statement
When I first read the script for this film, I was blown away by how much I was able to personally connect with the main character, Roger. I kept asking myself why I was connecting with a man who devotes himself to cooking, which I am terrible at, and works at a prison, which I have luckily never found myself inside of. What I finally discovered was that the film’s emotional resonance lies in the theme of finding purpose in new, unexpected ways, no matter what profession it may be. Everyone has experienced or will experience the curveballs life throws your way. Everyone has seen their original dream morph and change. These moments are universal, which is why I believe our film has the chance to connect with all who watch it. Everyone who worked on the film came together and gave their all to bring this film to you, the audience. I made lifelong friends throughout and was truly changed in the process. Thank you and enjoy the film!
