Mission Statement
The Story
Fortune Cookie functions as a project that explores a grounded world infused with hidden magic. This short represents the ideal entry point: it captures the tone, visual language, and underlying mythology without attempting the full narrative arc of the feature. The story hints at a broader magic system embedded in everyday life. One where fortune cookies carry real power, while centering on human connection and choice. Through Hailey’s perspective, the film quietly examines ambition, loyalty, and how far someone might go to change their status. Mia serves as the moral compass, grounding the chaos. The twist that the ominous pursuit is over a stolen DoorDash delivery reinforces the film’s tonal balance between danger and comedy.

About the Project
On an ordinary night in her family's struggling restaurant, Mia and her best friend Hailey are cramming for a biology midterm when they sneak a snack from a bag of fortune cookies. But these aren't normal cookies. Each fortune eerily comes true. At first it's harmless fun, but things escalate quickly into high stakes, high-speed car chase as the girls realize they must destroy the enchanted cookies before their lives spiral completely out of control.
"Fortune Cookie" is a high-energy action-comedy designed to bring people together for a fast, magical ride. At it's core, the film is about friendship, chaos, and the kind of unexpected adventure that reshapes how we see the world around us. The audience experience is playful and propulsive rooted in humor, escalating stakes, and the joy of watching characters pushed just beyond their comfort zones. Fortune Cookie is an exciting film project currently in production. Stay tuned for updates on location scouting, actor signings, and promotional events as we bring this story to life.
This story needs to come from us because it was built from an animator’s mindset. The script was written through storyboards first, using visual structure to dictate pacing and comedy.

That roadmap is deeply personal and highly specific. Understanding how each moment is meant to land because it was designed frame by frame.
As director for this project, it represents a creative milestone: I am intentionally pushing my technical boundaries with day-for-night shooting, vehicle choreography, fight scenes, and stylized editing. The risk is real, but it is calculated and achievable.
