Today, death of a project youth following a police control…25 years ago, disappearance of an activist…The journalists from “BACK UP!”, an alternative media, are investigating… Their opponent? The State determined to keep control over the Republic’s forgotten territories.

When a young man from the suburb of Paris is killed by the Police, a French alternative media outlet called “BACK UP!”; along with its free-spirited female journalist investigate the causes of yet another Police Brutality scandal. Her nonconformist and scrutinous inquiries will not only help them shed some light on the mysterious disappearance of a militant ecologist, but also provide a much needed impartial media platform for the sister of the young deceased.
