About ⅔ of Asian representation in mainstream film & television are still "knowledge" or "martial arts" roles. To combat monolithic and stereotypical narratives, Seed&Spark is partnering with Gold House for its first AAPI Renaissance rally to drive awareness and funding for projects that lead with multidimensional or unexpected Asian and Pacific Islander characters. We're looking for novel, subversive, unique characters telling inspirational stories, cautionary tales, the weirdest mindf*cks, and everything in between.
