The Story
A Beautiful Lie is a story that reveals the often hidden truths within a seemingly perfect marriage. The film follows a day in the life of Teri Lewis who's world begins to unravel the moment a stranger knocks at her door. With this project, we aim to engage audiences, provoke discussions and examine the complexities of love and trust in relationships.
Teri Lewis’s entire world shatters when a mysterious woman appears at her door. What begins as innocent curiosity quickly spirals into a suffocating web of secrets, betrayal, and buried truths. As the line between past and present blurs, Teri is forced to confront not only the lies she’s uncovered but also the ones she’s still desperate to believe. Will she face the unsettling truth — or bury her conscience and cling to a dream that may have always been a nightmare waiting to wake her?
For over a decade, I poured my heart into acting—breathing life into characters and connecting with audiences through performance. But as the industry shifted and opportunities narrowed, I realized that if I wanted to keep telling meaningful stories, I couldn’t just wait for the next role—I had to create it. Out of that necessity, a new passion was born.
What began as a pivot to survive became a revelation: I wasn’t just an actress—I was a storyteller. I discovered the power of writing and producing, and with it, the freedom to shape narratives that reflect my voice, my vision, and the kinds of stories I believe deserve to be told.
This film marks my first project as an actress, writer, and producer. It’s more than a creative leap—it’s the culmination of years of experience, growth, and relentless passion. I'm proud of what this project represents, and even more excited to bring it to life with your support.
A Beautiful Lie will keep you on the edge of your seat while echoing the reality that permeates our souls. The truth of who we are resides in the darkest corners of our lives. This film will push audiences to openly face the choices we make and how life lessons shape who we are in this world.
As an artist, I believe storytelling should do more than fill seats—it should challenge perspectives, ignite conversation, and inspire growth. Right now, as major studio productions slow down and the industry feels uncertain, there’s a unique opening for independent voices to step forward. We have a chance to tell bold, meaningful stories that offer not only thrilling escapes for our audiences but also real emotional resonance.
This film is one of those opportunities—a chance to create art that matters, to support fellow creatives, and to ensure that everyone involved is fairly compensated for their craft. It’s a labor of love, but also a call to action: to make space for stories that move us, and to build something beautiful in a moment that needs it most.

We are now in our pre-production process and currently rounding out the crew.
* Production: October 2025 (3 days) *
Because of your generosity, we will start Production in September once money is collected.
* Post-Production: Will begin after the last day of filming *
We will be heading straight into Editing to begin Post-Production.
