THE STORY
Η Ιστορία

Αχιλλέας και Πάτροκλος
Every myth leaves something behind. For every story that survives, countless others disappear—lost to time, remembered only in fragments.
Achilles and Patroclus is inspired by those forgotten spaces, imagining the lives that unfolded before history turned two young men into legends.
Achilles and Patroclus follows two boys sent to Mount Pelion to train under the immortal centaur Chiron. Far from kingdoms and battlefields, they learn to hunt, fight, and survive. As the seasons pass, their bond deepens into love. But when Achilles begins to receive visions of the future waiting for him, he is forced to confront an impossible question:
-can love change destiny, or is destiny forever out of our control?
Inspired by the surviving fragments of the Epic Cycle (a collection of Ancient Greek poetry), this intimate retelling explores one of mythology's most enduring relationships through a deeply human lens. Rather than beginning with war, we begin with youth. Before history remembered them as heroes, they were simply two young people trying to understand each other and the future unfolding before them.
WHY THIS STORY NOW?
Γιατί τώρα;
I've been fascinated by Greek mythology for as long as I can remember. Stories like Jason and the Argonauts, Hercules, and Homer's Odyssey first introduced me to worlds filled with gods, monsters, and heroes. But as I grew older, I realized what captivated me most wasn't the battles
it was the people behind the legends.
When I discovered the story of Achilles and Patroclus, I wanted to tell the story before the battlefield. Before they became legends, they were two young people navigating friendship, first love, destiny, and the impossible weight of the futures awaiting them. That's the humanity I want to bring to the screen.
At a time when audiences are embracing stories that reflect the full spectrum of the human experience, I believe it's worth revisiting the myths that shaped modern storytelling with fresh eyes. This film isn't about rewriting history, it's about celebrating the love, humanity, and complexity that have always existed within these timeless stories.
"Representation isn't about rewriting history. It's about allowing stories to reflect the complexity and humanity that has been there all along."
OUR VISION
Το Όνειρό μας

When people think of Greek mythology, they often picture marble statues, gods, monsters, and epic battles.
We begin somewhere quieter.
Our world is grounded, tactile, and deeply human. It's cold mountain lakes, worn leather, smoke rising from a campfire, long afternoons spent training, and quiet conversations beneath the trees. We want Achilles and Patroclus to feel like young people first, legends second.
Rather than approaching mythology as fantasy, we're approaching it as memory. Every creative decision, from the cinematography and costumes to the performances and production design, is designed to immerse audiences in a world that feels lived in, intimate, and emotionally honest.
MORE THAN A LEGEND
Περισσότερο από έναν Θρύλο
Although Achilles and Patroclus stands on its own as a short film, it is also the first chapter of a larger anthology called Mount Pelion.
The series explores the forgotten years before the Trojan War, re-imagining the myths that shaped Western storytelling through an intimate and character-driven lens. Rather than focusing on kings and battles, each story asks what happened before history became legend.
This film is the beginning of a much larger journey.
