Mission Statement

We want to use this film to highlight the power of sisterhood and show how girls can get up to shenanigans, too. This is a film by funny women to showcase funny women.

The Story

Tonight is Bobbi's last night in town and her last chance to go to a high school party and impress her crush. To infiltrate the party scene, she enlists the help of her younger sister, Sarah.

Sarah agrees and starts the night out by sharing a magic mushroom tea!

Now high on shrooms, the sisters venture out to find a keg, leading them to cause chaos in their local community.

Sarah - Sarah is a laid-back teenager. She keeps to herself but does hang around the school’s stoner crowd. She isn’t involved in many extracurriculars but does highly enjoy history and the restoration of vintage objects. She and her sister Bobbi were adopted at the same time from their former foster home. Because of this, Sarah has a deep connection with Bobbi. Their relationship is the most important thing in her life, and in this film, she strives to help Bobbi have the perfect last night.

Bobbi - Bobbi is a very motivated teenager dedicated to her studies and extracurriculars. Although on paper she is picture perfect, she does occasionally bend the rules to participate in the “normal” teenage experience. Bobbi is very excited to move to college, even though it’s only a few hours away. She highly values her relationship with Sarah, but with the knowledge that they will always be together and connected for their whole lives, she has recently been dismissing Sarah’s attempts to hang out to instead be with her friends, whom she knows she won’t contact anymore.

Drag Queen - the teenage girls’ hallucination of their favorite television character within an old episodic crime comedy from the 90s. Very eccentric and willing to use out-of-the-box techniques to solve the case. Their main priority is having fun and throwing caution to the wind. Drag Queen now serves as the personification of Bobbi’s need to procure a keg for the party.

Cowboy - the teenage girls’ hallucination of their favorite television character within an old episodic crime comedy from the 90s. The stereotypical cowboy sheriff, but brought to the max. Does everything “by the books” and prioritizes caution and safety above all else. Cowboy now serves as the personification of Sarah’s anxiety.

"Since I decided that I was going to pursue film as a career, I knew that I wanted to make a love letter to my sisters. My sisters have always been so supportive of everything I have tried to accomplish, and they have always been a shoulder to cry on when I needed support. This film tackles the emotional element of seeing your sister leave for college. As a middle sister, I am in the perfect position to write this story, as I have been the melancholy sister watching my older sister leave, and I have also been the elated sister leaving. This story is a culmination of years of excitement thrown into one last night before their lives change forever."
