The Story

All Four One is a comedy web series about four codependent friends trying their best to succeed in a world that might just be over their heads. The show is comprised of three, five minute episodes following Justin, Willa, Sasha, and Kaela through a pivotal assignment for the temp-agency at which they work. After a series of extraordinary failures (like that one time they burned down a house… or three), the group's boss, who is also Kaela’s father, gives the Four one last chance to prove themselves. The task is easy: help pack up an estate. But when they discover a problem pertaining to Justin’s…. manhood… staying on task isn’t as easy as expected.
All Four One is a mix of other-worldly hijinx, absurdist logic, and palpable love. In writing the webseries, Justin, Willa, Sasha, and Kaela, channeling heightened shades of themselves, intended to provoke questions about the benefits and drawbacks of tight-knit friend groups, friendship in your 20s, and the challenge that is discerning the order of life’s priorities. They were inspired by shows like Broad City, Detroiters, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Girls, and Search Party.

Hi! We’re Skip Skip! We’re a Chicago-born, New York implanted improv and sketch team making our first foray into a longer narrative. The group features Kaela Rosenbaum, Justin Kuhn, Sasha Rechler, and Willa Barnett, who have left their mark at The PIT, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, iO, The Annoyance, The Comedy Clubhouse, and, most recently, opening for Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour. Don’t Google that last one, she’s really private about it.

Not only have we been performing comedy together for many years, we’ve also been best friends for almost seven years. We live together, work together, sleep together (okay, it only happened once!), and as we enter our mid-twenties, we’re grappling with balancing friendships, work, and life.
With All Four One, we’ve taken the very common notion of the close knit twenty-something friend group to the codependent extreme.
In addition to working on the short form digital sketches that we’ve been making for over two years, we’ve loved focusing on a longer narrative, and can’t wait to premier this larger-scale project. We currently have a residency performing our monthly show Skip Skip Visits Your Neighborhood at the PIT, and bi-weekly shows as a part of Brooklyn Comedy Collective’s Home Teams. We’d love to see you there!

Inspired by shows like Broad City, Detroiters, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the series explores the benefits and drawbacks of tight-knit friend groups and friendship in your 20s through an absurdist lens. However we aim to have a more polished look, unlike your usual comedy, aiming for Wes Anderson style composition or Poor Things style shots.

Making movies is well... expensive... and we are filming 3 episodes, around 10 minutes each, all at once!
Biggest bulk of the budget goes to our various locations (Office, apartment, House, etc) followed by our Equipment, all of our camera / lenses and lightning to make sure that the image quality is highest possible! While All Four One is a comedy, we want to make it look as stylized and beautiful as possible!
Our third biggest expense is none other than Meals and crafty! Film sets are long hours and a lot of physical labor, so it is an utmost priority that our Cast and Crew are well fed and happy! This money goes to nutritious meals and substantial crafty and drinks.
Then we have our Production Design (we do have to set up a whole estate sale.... and burn a miniature house... and set up a pair of tentacles...) as well as our Transportation. With multiple locations throughout 4 to 5 days we need to secure transport for all equipment and goods!
And lastly we have our Misc category. Here goes the festival submissions, Insurance and petty cash. The things you don't really think about at first but then come and really add up...
We have secured enough funding to cover Payment for our Crew and for our Post Production so just need to make the rest of our tangible needs a reality!

- MARCH - APRIL: crowdfund campaign
- MARCH - EARLY MAY: Pre-Production
- LATE MAY: Production!!!!!!!
- JUNE-AUGUST: Post-Production
- SEPTEMBER-MARCH: Festival Run!!!!
We will be shooting across 4 to 5 days this upcoming May of 2025. Then we have to give ourselves a couple of months to be very thorough in Post Production and deliver the best product possible!

You decide what fits your budget (but we would love 100,00 thousand dollars if possible...). But truly no pledge is too small in the world where time is money every single dollar makes our film possible. Hey one more minute can be a whole new take!
BUT,
We understand that not everyone can make a pledge, and to those of you I want to let you know, YOU CAN STILL SUPPORT!
