Our film follows a crazy and wacky story that combines Director, Galen Cunningham, and Executive Producer, Carl Elmore’s, love for Martin Scorsese’s less mainstream films but also their unique and dry sense of comedy. It all comes together to tell a different mob story that’s never been seen before!

Mission Statement

The purpose of this project is to show how our team has something unique to bring to the table and what different types of comedy can do when you bring them into genres that are generally more serious. Our team is composed of people who are dedicated to help show our unique sense of humor.

The Story

If there is one thing we will walk out of film school with, it will not only be our filmmaking skills, but our infectious comedy. Throughout our time at film school, we have crafted an impressive body of film work that’s most crucial trait has been our unique, wacky, dry, and nonsensical comedy. Since our very first days of film school, creating short films on our iPhones, running around the dorms, and crafting up crazy ideas, the duo “Carl & Galen” was born and known for creating the biggest laughs come class time. Each of our films include a comedic signature filled with contagious fun and offbeat humor. It has been central to our filmmaking style. What was born from a true friendship created the first day of freshman year, has evolved into an accomplished filmmaking duo stepping into their final film, and we want you to join us!

This is Carl and Galen's Senior Capstone project at the Savannah College of Art & Design. This means that they utilize all their knowledge and resources that they have gained and learned over the past 3 years to make one final project bigger and better than all the ones they have made before. This requires us to raise money and get the best possible people to work on this project.

We’re looking for $10,000 to make this film come to life and we need to get at least 80% through this campaign to use those funds. Once you guys help us by donating, we will use that money for all the objects listed under our wishlist! This includes paying the cast, renting equipment, getting locations, getting props together, etc. Once we use this money to gather up those resources, then we will shoot the film during the first weekend of October 2024! We will spend the rest of Fall and all of Winter working with their post-production team to edit and make the film the absolute best it can be before we release it to the public and submit it to many different film festivals!

There is also an incentives list where if you donate a certain amount of money then you can get special rewards including posters and behind the scenes access!

We hope to combine the mobster aesthetic and settings of films like Scorsese’s Goodfellas and Casino with the wackier humor of films like After Hours. Taking inspiration from one of the greatest filmmakers is far past unique, but what is distinct is our intention of flipping these films on their heads and combining the comedic traits of our films with the dark and artful stories of gangster and mob cult classics.

Owen is your classic childish adult who lives with his grandmother: down on his luck, and desperate to move out. And that is how he finds himself sitting at a poker table surrounded by cutthroat mobsters, and in desperate need of a win, only for their game to be interrupted by an uninvited guest. Owen’s grandma Lucy.

About This Team

Our team has worked together on several projects before and always work together very well. We all communicate very well with each other and strive to do the best we can in order to make a fantastic piece of film. With this being one of our final films here at the Savannah College of Art & Design, we are even more dedicated to coming together as a team to create the best film possible.

Our team is led by an experienced and close knit group of creatives who met at SCAD Atlanta. As our final project at film school, we could not be more excited to bring you this story with such a great production behind it.

Scorsese and De Niro. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. The Coen Brothers.

There has not been a duo as notable as Carl Elmore and Galen Cunningham. From our meeting on our first day at SCAD, we knew we were made to make films together. With our film school journey beginning together, we are now concluding this chapter side by side and bringing you All In.
