The Story
MESSAGE FROM OUR TEAM <3
Hi, this is Ally and Liya, the co-directors of All of My Feelings.
The past few months, we have been making a passion project: a short film that explores identity, human connectivity, and self expression. As we navigate through five different chapters and are introduced to a new character in each section–Jenn, Jo, Ethan, Fay, Allen–All of My Feelings lets us in on glimpses of how each individual perceives and experiences their feelings.
Led by video storytelling, photography, and animation, we have developed a multimedia approach to visualizing each feeling. The intersectionality of these mediums serves to best immerse us in the emotion each chapter embodies. Together, we want to create an immersive emotional and visual experience for you. Drawing from the craft of intuitive cinema, we want to visualize a story with characters that you can not only empathize with, but also feel utterly and completely connected with.
FIRST OF ALL, THANK YOU.
With your help, we managed to raise over 8K through amazing events, fundraisers, sponsorships, and crowdfunding assistance over on Kickstarter. This money went directly towards supporting our production, including funding production design, camera rentals and lights, feeding our crew, location licenses, and so much more.
As we enter post-production, we need your help again. We’re aiming to raise $2,500, which will go towards the following needs as we work our way through the last stretch of completing this film and prepare to submit this story to film festivals and beyond.
Here’s an update on where we’re at, and how you can support us!
We finished shooting our production back in April. Check out some behind the scenes photos of our crew and cast in action!

During our last fundraising campaign, we successfully met our goal of 8K, but was given $7,600 to spend due to the online fees.
Here is an overview of how we used our production funds:
In total, we have spent around $7,000 on production costs, with the highest costs being equipment rentals for our camera and lighting departments, as well as permitting and renting our locations as seen throughout the film. With only about $600 remaining, we are seeking your generous support to help us push this film through its final stages.

If you have more specific questions about our finances, please feel free to contact us via Instagram or email.
CURRENTLY: POST PRODUCTION!
Now, we are in full swing for post production. We've started our editing process and recently finished our first rough cut in early May. Our editor, Angie Canonizado, is working tirelessly on perfecting it, down to each frame. To give you a glimpse of how we're visualizing this story, here are a couple stills from each chapter: JOY OF COMPANIONSHIP, CHILDHOOD WONDER, ROMANTIC PASSION, GRIEF, & SELF-FULFILLMENT.

We are simultaneously collaborating with our wonderful animator, Matt Sorgie, to develop animations for the GRIEF chapter and are in the process of working with a composer and colorist! Here are a few process photos from our animator:

Preliminary sketches and boards from our talented, show-stopping, amazing animator, Matt.
WHY CONTRIBUTE NOW?
Our post production timeline is tight. With our first festival submission deadline in early August, we have less than three months to complete this film. That includes not just the edit, but also sound design, composing/scoring, sound mixing, coloring, animation, VFX and more. We're reaching out once again for your support and generosity to help us pull the final pieces of the film together. Even the smallest contribution matters!
Here is a breakdown of where your contributions would be going towards:
We need $2000 to greenlight this project, which is 80% of our goal. Below is a pie chart of how we will allocate our post-production funds when we reach 100% of our goal.

STRETCH GOALS
Let's highlight some stretch goals: cool things we can do for this project if we surpass 100% of our goal.
- $3000 - WORLDWIDE FESTIVAL RUN - We will be able to submit to more festivals and get this project seen and circulated by more people.
- $3500 - PREMIUM POST PRODUCTION - Sound design and coloring bring the life into a film. With additional funds, we'll be able to elevate and enhance all the hard work that has been poured into this project by everyone in our team.
- $4000 - SUPPORT OUR TEAM - We have a few freelancers working on different aspects of post-production on a tight budget as a favor out of love for us and the project! We would love to pay them extra to support their work. This includes our animator, graphic designer, and our multimedia artists/editors.
