(Risky Business, 1983)
All That Glitters centers on high school student Christopher who is frustrated with his safe and comfortable suburban life. But when a drug deal at his boring part-time job gets mixed up, Christopher is thrust into the middle when he accidentally ends up with thousands of dollars worth of cocaine and the previous owners searching for him. After making the decision to sell the drugs at a party being thrown by the richest kids in Christopher’s grade, he enlists the help of a fellow classmate to teach him the ropes of selling drugs. Facing danger in a world he’s never experienced means Christopher has to learn fast and realize his actions do have consequences.

MEET THE CHARACTERS
JACK WELSHONS is CHRIS

MONTERIO CALDWELL is MACK

AARON HARRIS is DOMINIC

SAMANTHA IPEMA is SARAH
Writer/Director Noah Meister pulled the first draft of "All That Glitters" from first and second hand experiences, and watched it evolve from there. It is very important to him as the director to depict a serious subject like teen substance abuse in a grounded and respectful way, so he has written from what he knows, as well as surrounded himself with people he trusts in his crew.

As you can see from the breakdown of our budget above, the overwhelming amount of the funds that are contributed to our project will be directly going towards the wages of our hardworking cast and crew. Since this is a lower budget film, it was important to us to scale down our budget to allocating our resources only towards what was completely necessary, which first and foremost means paying people for their hard work.
STRETCH GOALS
$20,000 is our bare minimum goal to make sure everyone gets paid for their work, and that we can take care of everyone on set. However if we meet additional goals beyond that, it will only improve the production quality of the film.
- With $30,000 we will be able to give a more workeable budget to both the Art and Lighting Departments, greatly improving the production value of the film, as well as being able to pay our crew members a better rate.
- With $35,000 we would be able to afford post-production costs without having to separately raise the funds after production.
- With $40,000 we can greatly increase the production value of the film, as well as not only getting the film through production, but also forward towards marketing the film as well.
"All That Glitters" has been featured in articles by Milwaukee Magazine and the Verona Press. All of the crew positions have been filled, and most of the actors have been cast. A full storyboard has been finalized, and a final script is getting revised in time for shooting in August. "All That Glitters" evolved from a few college kids passionate about an idea to a cast and crew ready for production come August - All we need is your help.
