Aloha follows one new mom's quest to find the perfect birth announcement after the delivery of her baby doesn't go quite as planned. It's a heartwarming drama that touches on a pregnancy complication that isn't always easy to discuss.

Mission Statement

Our project is female-driven and features a family of color with roles that span a wide range of ages. We believe in the beauty of diversity and will reflect that both in front of and behind the camera.

Aloha follows new mom Camille as she goes on a mission to find the perfect birth announcement for her daughter Bailey.  Despite her husband’s protests to use this time to rest, she spends hours searching, leaving no stone unturned until she finds the one that feels right. When the cards arrive, we discover her daughter's birth didn't go quite as expected, and learn why finding the perfect birth announcement means so much to this new mom.

FUNDING GOAL

We've set a funding goal of $15k in order to cover physical production so that we can shoot the film. With Seed & Spark we have to raise 80% of this goal ($12k) in order to receive the funds we raise or else we get nothing at all. While contributions are not tax deductible, your pledge will help us make a positive film with a heartwarming message that we hope will be shared far and wide. If you can't contribute, please consider "following" as every single follower helps!
