Mission Statement
The Story
After his town is deleted off the map with no explanation, Finn decides to march up to God and ask what happened, accompanied by Briar, a long-suffering tour guide. When, to their surprise, God responds, Finn sets off on a quest to find out the truth about his town, his world, the nature of God, and (perhaps most importantly) the tour guide he’s become attached to.
In a world where people feel increasingly disconnected from community and the seemingly meaningless events that shape our lives, we ask you to question the way that things have been, and consider how we can take control back over our own narratives. Who decides the way that things are, or how we think? If they were relevant once, are they relevant now? Or have times changed without those in power adapting to them?
✨Come join us in a world absurd and fantastical! And get excited because when maybe when you leave, your world will be absurd and fantastical too. ✨

"Finn, buddy, I’m all powerful! I have a giant sandbox and the ability to play in it, so I make things." - God, Amen
I am lucky to be a long time theatre lover and creator. My school -- The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts -- taught artists to make the work they wanted to see in the world. I was always pulled towards writers who found comedy within tragedies - Samuel Beckett, David Ives, and Martin McDonagh just to name a few - and I've always been a lover of words. From Shakespeare to Sarah Ruhul, I'm transfixed by the poetry of life. When I first read Amen I saw all these components bleeding through, and it came to life right there on the page. I've pulled together some imagery from stage shows that have impacted me and my work greatly, just to give a taste of the tone and world. Enjoy!
A generous donor has agreed to match every dollar you donate here, doubling it up (with a cap at $1000)! Talk about bang for your buck!

About This Team
Rachael Maye and Marisa Ray are overjoyed to introduce you to their totally rocking cast and crew:
RM says: "When I first read Amen three years ago, I fell head over heels for the script. After a lot of time editing, learning, and simply growing up we finally decided to bite the bullet and make art we wanted to see! Putting together this team has gotten me more excited than ever before. I'm surrounded by so much unmatched creativity and passion, and the beautiful things all these people have already brought to the table is nothing short of divinity. I can hardly begin to express how honored I am to cultivate a space for all these artists to shine!"
