The Story
An Evening Alone with Natalie Wood is a glimpse into the Hollywood Starlette's life like you've never seen before!
In this 2 person play, Natalie Wood has left Hollywood behind and is spending her first night alone... ever! Set in 1966, we'll watch Natalie tell stories about her past, interact with the many famous men in her life, and untangle her often toxic relationship with both Hollywood and her mother.
We are already in rehearsals gearing up for our August 29th premier! Your donations will be offsetting some of the initial cost to make sure we can be focused on telling this beautiful story. Anything past our initial goal will be put towards other important things, like hiring a cinematographer, and even a potential self produced run!
Maggie and Skylar have been working diligently on this project for over a year, including a live staged reading in March which garnered extremely positive feedback. Since then, they've retooled the script and truly believe it's ready for its full premiere.
So, help us bring Natalie Wood's complicated life to the Broadwater Stage this August! See you soon!
