The Story

Angel Baby is a film about remembering where you came from. When a young professional is forced to return home from San Francisco for his Dad’s big 50th birthday party in Riverside, he opens old wounds and revisits a time in his life that he ran from in the first place.

Angel is an openly gay man, but closeted and keeps his personal life a secret from his family. He convinces his “BFF” Sofia to come down with him and “pretend” to be his girlfriend to help keep his lie afloat in front of his family. Angel Baby is a comedy about being your true self and loving who you are. It’s a love story between a boy and his family.
