The Story
Black Sheep is a gripping psychological thriller that dives deep into the cost of ambition. It follows Lucy, a determined young woman chasing her dream of becoming an actress only to discover the dark sacrifices required along the way. The question is… how far is she willing to go?
DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
Why this story?/Why tell it now?
Our story is based around the question... "How Far Would You Go to Chase Your Dreams?" and we definitely mean it. We are bringing a raw and gripping story about the passion and challenges that Lucy must face and at what point do you just say "no". With the evolving climate in the entertainment world and the introduction of new technologies we are definitely faced with challenges, now seems like the perfect moment to reach into the world of how far someone is willing to go to make their dreams reality. Our team has worked so hard and we are so close to bringing this story to a fantastic completion. We need your help in finishing strong. Compensating everyone involved for their skill and time is important to us, especially considering we did not cut corners with the use of AI in our campaign or marketing. This is our call to you... Our Crew has worked so hard and we are so close to finalizing the film and seeking distribution so that we can bring you all this killer story! Our campaign is seeking an initial goal of at least $4,000 to pay the final funds needed for Editing and Sound Design. We believe in paying our team what they are worth and doing so before we complete the film. Once we complete this step it will be onto distribution and then to all of you... We can't wait.
