The Story

Cañon City, Colorado, 1875 - Billy Riemann works as a blacksmith, his family trade, providing for his mother and ailing sister. His father has been missing for months, and not a trace of him has been found...until a dangerous rustler shows up and attacks Billy, demanding a mysterious item his father found. With the help of an eccentric professor and a woman from the Pony Express, Billy discovers his father had found a fossil - the remains of a beast never seen before. However, that dangerous rustler wants it badly. And he's willing to do anything to get it.
"Bone Rush" is an adventure, historical western, that combines history with humor, and science with thrills. With similar tones to "Indiana Jones" and lovable protagonists, it's a story that excite and enlighten audiences everywhere.

"Bone Rush" is based on a concept by Cooper Knight, a Colorado-native author and artist. Cooper is a key crew member, and this story is the prequel to his novel, "Archeoguard," coming soon to independent publishers. Cooper is also a member of the autism community, and by supporting "Bone Rush," you will also be supporting an artist on the autism spectrum. Cooper has done extensive research on early paleontology, and so have writers Breanne Nicole Wilson and Jacob Kimmick.

There are already many stories about dinosaurs, but there aren't many about the people who discover them, much less the early days of paleontology and the time of the 'Bone Wars'. The "Bone Rush" team is working to fix that. In order to progress in scientific discovery, we have to understand where it all began.
We are also committed to incorporating Colorado-based paleontological history into the plot, as well as hiring primarily Colorado-based actors and crew. By supporting "Bone Rush", you will also be helping provide production jobs for Colorado artists, as well as supporting up-and-coming filmmakers and the promotion of paleontological history.
Right now, "Bone Rush" is going into pre-production, and we're working on finding locations, casting, and rounding up the best crew! This campaign will enable us to pay our cast and crew fair wages, as well as afford period-accurate props, costumes, and locations. And, of course, providing food on set! With your help, we will be able to shoot and edit "Bone Rush" by the end of 2025, where it will then be entered into film festivals around the world, and ultimately distributed online on Youtube and on streaming platforms, like Amazon Prime.
However, we need your help to bring this historical adventure to life! So what are you waiting for? Pledge, follow, share, and join the Bone Rush today!
