The Story

Synopsis:
A coming of age horror story about a young girl who must finally grow up and face her fears of the dark when her parents take away her night light. There’s only one slight problem… the Boogeyman is out to get her. If she wants to stop him, she'll have to stick out of the shadows to face an even greater challenge, convincing her brother Oliver to beat him up. That of course, is only if he can stop joking around.

Why we need YOUR help:
Bringing fun and original content to the big screen comes with many challenges that constantly need be overcome in order to achieve true art. An incredible script, casting, locations, and makeup were already tricky enough, but now we all need to stay especially safe during Covid-19.

These funds would not only help ensure the safety of all my cast and crew on my student thesis, but also allow us to do it in a way that brings the joy of filmmaking back into our hearts.

These times have been both testing and scary, but with each day that we wake up, we must choose between two options, "love or fear. Choose love, and don't ever let fear turn you against your playful heart." -Jim Carrey

Back Up Plan:
If the fight against Covid becomes too much for the world to handle at this given time, our next course of action is to limit the spread by utilizing our resources towards phenomenal voice actors and a team to animate the story. This disease can shut down anything, but our ambition.

Why should I invest?
A) Art inspires you
B) You like being apart of a diverse community
C) You support young rising talent
D) You like to be scared
E) You like naughty humor (;
