After creating and self distributing 4 feature films, we are moving into marketable genres for 2025. "Be My Valentine" is a found footage film about a woman's desire for a man she's not met. "Last Seen Wearing" is a Lifetime-style thriller about an abduction before a bachelor party with a twist.

Mission Statement

The mission of Bouncy Boxer Media is to tell stories about women by women. These two projects give unique perspectives on popular genres while attempting to stand out. We've mostly been about holidays and comedy so taking on more adrenaline concepts help us show diversity in our storytelling.

The Story

After writing, filming, and self distributing 4 feature films, we are ready for a new direction!

For our 2025 slate, we are looking into more adrenaline fueled stories. The horror and thriller genres are more marketable and will help diversify our library while allowing us to take some risk with the storytelling.

"Be My Valentine" - A woman becomes obsessed with a man she's not officially met yet. Through a vlog style self filming, she essentially confesses to her stalking behaviors. The film is edited in a way to present as evidence in her trial with the full timeline of her actions as she's presented.

Found Footage genre is one that writer/director Stefanie Davis enjoys which makes this even more fun. By flipping the story to be a woman stalking a man, we will bring a fresh take on an experimental subgenre. Many times these allegations are not taken seriously, especially with a male victim. The main character's escalation and obsession will make an audience uncomfortable and seeking to get security cameras for their home (hey Ring wanna be a sponsor?).

BUDGET

This film will be made for $5,000 or less (rollover goes into "Last Seen Wearing") with the following breakdown:

Cast - $1500

Locations - $1000

Crew (hire SFX artist but rest is Stefanie who gets paid on backend) - $500

Art Department Expenditures & Wardrobe - $500

Miscellaneous including Food (home cooked meals and snacks/drinks) - $1500

Total - $5000 but most likely closer to $4500

"Last Seen Wearing" - The day before a bachelor party trip, Chase is missing, but then recovered bloodied and bruised. As Ivy and Detective Wilmington put the pieces together, Chase's story starts to unravel into one big mess. Inspired by a popular kidnapping hoax case, this film takes a unique spin on a crazy story in the tone of a typical Lifetime TV movie.

Storytelling through twists and turns are something that writer/director Stefanie Davis strives for. By reimagining a popular story into an unconventional thriller, the audience will keep wondering what's the truth and what is a red herring.

BUDGET

This film in total will be made for $15,000 so the remaining funds ($2500) go toward the following:

Police Station film day (same day as Be My Valentine) - $1000

Locations - $1500

Stretch goals would include the following line items (in this order):

Craft Services & Set Operations - $500

Art and Wardrobe Expenditures - $1000

Remaining Locations - $1000

Sound Mixer all days - $1500

***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

We are raising $7500 to film "Be My Valentine" ($5000) and get started with "Last Seen Wearing" ($2500). With stretch goals, we can be closer to completing both films on time in 2025. Remaining funds to complete both projects will come from Bouncy Boxer Media's cash flow which comes from freelance work, prior films, and investment from outside sources. Both projects are Non-Union and continue with the work ethic that Bouncy brings to every project. If you are interested in becoming an investor, please reach out to us separately from this campaign to discuss.

Meet the Team!

Samantha Dalesio - Gina Tremblay "Be My Valentine"

Samantha Dalesio is a local actress who has been studying under Eugenie Bondurant's Station 12 Studio. Sam brings a warm presence with each of her performances which makes her perfect to be Gina. Her improv training also brings a strength to how we are going to tell this story of obsession. With heavy preproduction, we are able to give Samantha the tools she needs to bring a unique energy to this film. We cannot wait to work with her!

Mitchell Patrick Greene - Zach Bowen "Be My Valentine"

Mitchell Patrick Greene is a local talent studying at Station 12 Studio in St Petersburg, Florida. We got to see him perform a variety of characters in their showcase and were blown away. When we posted a casting call for his role, Mitch rose to the top. His friendly look and kind demeanor is perfect for Zachary Bowen. We are super excited to work with Mitchell and give him his Scream King crown!

Natalie Brienen - Ivy Yarborough "Last Seen Wearing"

Natalie is someone you've seen in Visit St Pete Clearwater ads, commercials, and several films on streaming platforms. She's teamed up with local director, Joseph Mazzaferro, to lead feature films like "The House on Laura Anne Drive," "Mystery Box: The Amber Green Story," and "Anne." Throughout the past 10 years, we have been getting to know Natalie more and hoping for an opportunity to work with her. Our leading character, Ivy, requires a strong actress who can give a range of emotions and give an audience charisma to keep watching. It's the perfect fit and we are overjoyed to have her as our Ivy.

Nikolas Kolasinski - Chase Adams "Last Seen Wearing"

Nikolas is new to Bouncy and shined in a casting call for the role. All producers unanimously knew this was Chase Adams. He fits perfectly as Natalie's fiancé and Sallie's son. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect fitting. The leading role will take an array of emotions that we are excited to see from Nikolas. You can check out his past work in "Saudade" which is a South Florida series and "Lake Fear 2: The Swamp" where you get a real feeling for his change in emotion. We are super excited to work with Nikolas!

We had the pleasure of working with Sallie for "Home For Thanksgiving" where she played the lead character, Martha, all while she was shooting "The Love Gala." Sallie is the epitome of professional and talent. She is always ready to go and brings so much life to the screen. As Chase's mother, Cassie, Sallie will be playing an overbearing mother who will do anything for her son. Throughout the story the audience will wonder who she's truly protecting. We are so overjoyed to have Sallie on our team again!

Austin's audition was one that shows wisdom, a no bullshit filter, and dedication to the truth. Throughout the story, Detective Wilmington is given curveballs and must filter through the distractions to find out what really happened to Chase Adams. We are excited to have him back on set and to bring this character to life.

Writer/Director/Executive Producer - Stefanie Davis

Stefanie Davis is the founding owner of Bouncy Boxer Media and has written, directed, produced, and edited four feature films for the company since it began in 2012. With two successful Seed & Spark campaigns combined with personal income, film income, grants, and investors, she has been able to keep budgets balanced to create stories by women about women.

"Be My Valentine" and "Last Seen Wearing" are marketable concepts to add to the company's library. Stefanie prides herself on the ability to have relatable stories, strong dialogue, and characters actors strive to play. A mixture of improv and natural lighting brings an indie atmosphere that feels more grounded. For these films she will not only write and direct but also be the cinematographer and editor like many microbudget filmmakers do. Necessity brings this but also having control of the entire vision has been part of the process for a while.
