The Story
The Journey to Bethlehem is a faith-based science fiction romance that asks one of the most profound questions imaginable: what if you could witness the birth of Christ — not as a matter of belief, but as a matter of physics? On Christmas Eve, Dr. Diego Montalvo, a physicist whose 1990 racing accident awakened extraordinary abilities, makes a breakthrough in his calculations. Guided by Elena’s grandfather Eduardo — a man who has walked between worlds — Diego and his wife Elena attempt the most ambitious temporal navigation in history. What begins as scientific ambition becomes something far greater: a sacred journey that strips away everything unnecessary and reveals what truly matters.
This is not science fiction pretending to be real. It is reality wrapped in an accessible and deeply human story. The Journey to Bethlehem blends humor with reverence, romance with faith, and intimate human moments with the cosmic and eternal. Directed by Garrett Batty (The Saratov Approach, Freetown) and filmed at Wadley Farms Castle in Lindon, Utah, this is the entry point to the Boundless Love franchise — a multi-season universe six years in the making, built on a foundation of authentic Spanish heritage, LDS theology, and the idea that love, like light, has no boundaries.
