Codependent is a TV show pilot about twin brothers Max and Tristan. They're great at being brothers, not so much at being their own person. The pilot starts off with them sucking at their jobs and getting fired which leads them to compete for the same film assistant job. Spoiler alert: only one of them gets the job... but that doesn't mean they can't both do it?
In full twin style, the series will explore them switching back and fourth everyday at their new job, having to craft one life for the both of them. Even better, they're best friend, Jane, who is also trying to break into the industry, works at their office.
There's also a cute boy, Evan. And... Jane liked him first!
You thought a love triangle was messy? How about a love square. Not great for friendship, if you ask me.
Yes, this is true, but film is film, and it's expensive! In the last campaign, our goal was to raise 17,500 and we ended up raising 15,755, coming up nearly 2,000 dollars short. We also went over budget, and need a second push for Post Production to give this project the care that it deserves.
The future for Codependent is vast and expansive. We've already shot the pilot, now we just need to fundraise to pay an editor, composer, colorist, and for film festivals for submission.
