Mission Statement

We have a cast and crew led by women and people of color at all levels of our production.

The Story

The Story

Hollywood still incorrectly defines lowrider owners as thuggish.  This is not the case anymore as many in their 50's and 60's (the OG's of the movement) are grandparents now and are strong in discouraging their family and friends to avoid gangsta lifestyle.  The OG's are all about passing down the car culture without the crime and they don't want to see their kids, grandchildren, and friends get caught up on the wrong path.  I want to shed light on real lowrider culture which primarily helps those in need via medical fundraising, helping the homeless and those in need in our community.  They back good politics, also.

An important note about COVID-19: in order to ensure that our community stays safe we will be delaying production until the stay at home order has been lifted. It is our highest priority to keep those around us healthy. Once the all-clear has been given, we will start production ASAP. In the meantime, we will continue to work and develop our project to be the best it can be!

What We Need

Television is a powerful format to change the conversation around lowrider culture; however, it's also an expensive one. We need to pay for things like crew, equipment, permits, the list goes on and on. This is where you come in. Your contributions will help us get this important project made.

What You Get

Every little bit counts, and we want to personally thank each and every one of you for your contributions. When you support this campaign you have the opportunity to receive a wide variety of perks, to show our sincere appreciation. Some of the perks include a personal shout out on the official Facebook page, a private link to view the film as soon as it's released, or even an executive producer credit on the project!

 The Impact

In today's world, it's incredibly important to support both women and people of color. We hope to use this show to not only showcase talented women and Latinx, but also empowering them to embrace their roots.

Other Ways You Can Help

DeeDee Garcia Blase was the foundress of the largest Hispanic Republican group in the nation that began in Arizona and later grew out of crisis during an anti-immigrant fevered pitch era. She dropped her Republican registered voter affiliation, stepped down as the President of SOMOS REPUBLICANS and switched to the Independent Party and is now the Co-President of a non-partisan National Tequila Party Movement also known as SOMOS INDEPENDENTS. Leadership consists of Democrats, Independents and Republicans with a mission of getting out the Chicano and Latino Vote for the purpose of promoting immigrant friendly politicians. The immigration issue is our litmus test for politicians. Somos Independents / the Tequila Party is a WOMAN-LED counter movement to extreme Tea Party Republicans and our national independent organization consists of 60,000+ members nation wide with slow steady growth as we are independently self-funded. El Movimiento (the movement) is imperative with regard to key swing independent and women voters who hope to provide pro-immigrant political covering to politicians in high Latino populated states and key Presidential election swing states.
