Mission Statement

Empowering visual storytellers of the present and future, "Danielle's Boat" is written (by a female), directed, composed and produced by young teens. Though a youth-made project, it is a story about friendship that is essentially for everyone.

The Story

Danielle's Boat follows 14yr old Danielle as she moves with her family from the city to the country. Lonely and missing her former friends, Danielle builds a boat. As she does, the neighbor bully continually seeks to thwart her plans and makes life difficult. But after an unexpected near tragedy, and a closer look at the neighbor bully, Danielle learns that to have a friend, one must be a friend.

About This Team

We are a youth filmmaking team.

Youth Director: Samuel Parker http://www.imdb.com/name/nm7734619/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

Youth Screenwriter: Dana Koops http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5689377/?ref_=nv_sr_1

We are also the producers.

Our first short film, STUCK, won a "Best in Show" award and is still in the film festival circuit. It currently is heading to the Chicago International Children's Film Festival the end of this month (October 28, 2017)!

DANIELLE'S BOAT is challenging us even further. This story will be a 4 day shoot and will require several on location filming sites, as well SFX, strong acting chops, creative camera shots, a stunt coordinator, and...water!

We look forward filming this story!
