Mission Statement

Doll Face: The Motion Picture seeks to challenge norms, ignite imaginations, and leave a lasting impact on viewers, inviting them to explore the complexities of the human experience in a thought-provoking and immersive way.

The Story

Jen had a smile that could light up a room.

She embraced the weird things in life with open arms. At one point, she made Ryan consider embracing them, too.

But now, with Jen gone, the only thing he has left is the toy doll that she loved - a doll that would normally freak him out.

Haunted by the irony that he now embraces Jen's doll, it's the only thing that keeps her memory alive as his world spirals into turmoil.

Yet, as he grapples with his grief, Ryan's friends rally around him, determined to help him navigate the turbulent waters of his lost love.

Amidst uncertainty, one truth remains: human resilience prevails. Every tale boasts a hero, villain, awakening, and badass supporting cast. (Cursing allowed—this is horror!)

Fostering meaningful dialogue about what it truly means to let go of those you love, Doll Face serves as an expression of it's time, as well as a form of escapism. Its message of hope and connection serves as a beacon of light in dark times, offering audiences a much-needed catharsis while fostering meaningful dialogue about grief and coping mechanisms. With its universal themes and emotional resonance, we aim to provide such an experience that speaks to the collective consciousness of our time.

With an expertise born of navigating the darkest corners of storytelling, our team is poised to breathe vitality into Doll Face: The Motion Picture. Step into the shadows with us as we embark on a voyage into the heart of terror and introspection.

Once we reach $6,400, we're greenlit! This milestone ensures the project's development, covering essential expenses such as paying our dedicated cast and crew, film festival fees, and hiring professional hair and makeup artists (HMUA) to bring our characters to life on screen.

At $8,000, we achieve cinematic excellence. This milestone enables us to go above and beyond, investing in post-production enhancements such as sound design and visual effects, ensuring that Doll Face emerges as a polished and unforgettable cinematic experience that captivates audiences worldwide.

At $9,000, we amplify our production values. This additional funding enables us to enhance our set design, procure top-notch equipment, and secure more captivating locations, elevating the overall visual and atmospheric impact of Doll Face.

Reaching $10,000 allows us to expand our outreach. With this funding, we can invest in targeted marketing efforts, including social media campaigns and promotional materials, ensuring that Doll Face reaches a broader audience and garners the attention it deserves. Our cast/crew can attend film festival premieres along with holding a premiere of our own.

Every contribution matters. Whether you share our campaign with fellow filmmakers or donate to our fundraiser, your support fuels our journey to bring Doll Face: The Motion Picture to life. We deeply appreciate every gesture, no matter how small, as it brings us closer to realizing our dream project. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and create a cinematic experience that resonates with audiences worldwide. Thank you for standing by us and helping to turn our vision into reality.

Sincerely,

Doll Face
