Mission Statement
The Story
Taking a risk is a scary thing, but the only way to be courageous is to do what you need to do despite your fears. When one feels compelled, and truly passionate about an idea, it feels like there's no choice.
I wrote this story as an embellished reflection on past experiences and a unique take on how people become who they are. The film is loosely based on real relationship dynamics in a genre that I love. The characters are all looking to make their lives better and find their peace, just as I have as a filmmaker and actor, but we always want more even if it comes at great risk.
"At just the age of 21 years old, Jon Young lost his mother to cancer, just 5 years after losing his father. It was at that moment when something shifted in Jon, causing him to realize that life is short. After making the move from the east coast to the west, Jon has spent the past 8 years earning roles that have him featured on HBO, Netflix, and Prime Video. He's started his own production company that creates comedic commercials for several large brands. And while commercials are fun, he has his eyes set on feature films. Jon has had a love of film for as long as he can remember, and he's spent the past 8 years learning absolutely everything he can to make movies. Now is the time. He's ready. He's hungry. And he's going for it."

About This Team
Jon Young: As the writer and producer of this project, I will most certainly be either acting in it or directing it. Not both. That decision will be made at a later date. We are still in talks with directors, and all roles are currently being put out for casting. As a series regular on HBO's Winning Time and having produced numerous comedic commercials for large brands (including Sleeper, FabFitFun, and many more) Jon knows how to make fun stuff.

Drew Ganyer: Our Director of Photography. Drew has worked with Jon on more than half of his projects. Drew is insanely talented. He really knows how to set the mood in our productions. Drew has a ton of experience on projects of all sizes including features, TV, and commercial work. One of his notable works, "Zack and Miri Make a Porno", makes him the perfect fit for this movie.
