Sarah has a strange profession. People come to her when they have nowhere else to go. Our film is about loneliness, and the existential crises of ordinary people. In addition to entertaining audiences, we want them to connect emotionally with our characters and provoke introspection.

The Story
Sarah has been living alone in an old half-abandoned building for a long time. And she has all the reason in the world to do so. When a new neighbor moves in and gets the wrong idea, his romantic advances threaten to make life difficult for Sarah. Other characters include a middle aged man who wants to feel alive for one last time before his death; an old man seeking revenge for his dead son; and a new neighbor who gets sucked into Sarah’s bizarre and dangerous world. They all eventually come face to face with a fundamental question: Why are we alive?
From the outset of this project, I wanted to challenge myself. One of the questions I wanted to answer was: could I tell a compelling story within a confined space? Another objective of mine was experimenting with limited character backstories in order for the audience to concentrate on the visceral emotions of the characters. For me, it's all about the moment when the characters exist in the confined space, and how they interact.
