I found these shoes in the 1990's and it intrigued me to the point that they consumed my life for decades, learning more about this woman who died in 1880. I was compelled to travel to Troy, NY to find her home. This is my story and what I think would have happened.

A young woman finds a pair of antique baby shoes with a mysterious name written on the soles and embarks on a journey to find out more. She soon realizes that it’s not what you find, it’s why you find it.

About This Team
Anita Collins - Writer/Director
Anita graduated Cum Laude from California State University in 2010 with a degree in Screenwriting with an Emphasis on Chicano Studies. She received the Presidential Scholarship for writing a screenplay, Cherokee Rosebud, inspired by the Cherokee Female Seminary in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
She is a member of Veterans in Film and Television, a member and 2009 Screenwriting Fellow of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers and an Independent Writers Caucus member of the Writers Guild of America West.
She has written several features, shorts, and television pilots. Most recently produced was a pilot, Dream Nation, and a short co-written with Barbara Williamson, Best Served Cold.
Barbara Williamson - Producer/Location Manager
Barbara's life-long passion in acting started in 1956 in Uvalde, Texas, when she won "best actress" in her sophomore year. It was the first time the award had been given to an underclassman. She dreamt of studying theatre at the Pasadena Playhouse, but that was not to be. Instead, she married and raised five children while slowly easing back into the film industry. She has worn many hats: Actor, Producer, Writer, and Location Manager. She is currently appearing on a national commercial for Tide and earlier this year, she completed her first short film, Best Served Cold, that was loosely based on personal experience. She now lives on the banks of the river in San Marcos, Texas.

Christine Chen - 1st Assistant Director
Christine has been filming since she knew what a VHS camcorder could do. She has a B.A. from Rice University as well as a MBA from the University of Texas McCombs. In 2014, Christine's short films A Bird's Nest and Ya Albi were a Top 5 Louisiana Film Prize Finalists. They will be available on iTunes, Amazon, ShortsHD and continue to make the festival rounds. Funemployment, Christine's debut feature, produced under her banner Moth to Flame Films, is also currently being submitted to festivals.
Chris Perez - Executive Producer/Music Consultant
Chris has been involved in the music industry for over 20 years and involved in producing TV/Film/Web projects for over 8 years. He's the Executive Producer of the indie feature Tiramisu for Two which is currently on the festival circuit. Chris also served as the Co-Director & Programmer of the inagaural www.LostRiverFilmFest.org.

Bianca Collins - Lead Actress
Bianca, a graduate of the University of Southern California, has been a professional actress for 20 years, starting on Broadway with Annie. She also worked with Paul Simon, Marc Anthony and Ruben Blades as they workshopped the Broadway production of Capeman.
She went on to star in a leading role in Disney's TV movie, Tiger Cruise, George Lopez's Christmas movie, Naughty or Nice, and MTV's musical, American Mall. She had recurring roles on Nickelodeon's Unfabulous, the CW's Gigantic and has guest starred in Law & Order, House, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, New Girl, Code Black, and Grey's Anatomy, to name a few. She also recently was the voice of Sony's animated feature, Dragon Nest: Warrior's Dawn.

Casey Dolkas - Actor
Casey Dolkas grew up acting professionally, having appeared in several national commercials and film/TV projects.
After graduating from the University of Southern California with a BA in Acting from the School of Dramatic Arts and a minor in Cinema-Television with the School of Cinematic Arts, Casey continued his classical theatre training abroad by studying Shakespeare at Oxford University.
Casey has worked with networks such as CBS, Showtime, and Disney, and has worked alongside talent such as Michael Sheen, Beau Bridges, and Nick Cassavetes.
